Our real estate practice includes the representation of developers, lenders, contractors, architects and engineers in areas such as acquisition and development, financing, condominiums, joint ventures, construction contracts title insurance, and litigation. We represent banks and other lending institutions in making construction loans and regularly prepare and negotiate the documents necessary to finance all types of commercial property development. We represent clients in the acquisition, development and financing of projects such as office buildings and shopping centers. We also represent landlords and tenants and prepare and negotiate leases for shopping malls, office buildings and other commercial developments. Our real estate transactional attorneys team with our litigation department to handle all aspects of real estate litigation, including actions for breach of purchase and sale agreements, actions for specific performance, actions for return of deposit, inadequate disclosure, foreclosure, workouts, actions to appoint receivers, actions on notes and guarantees, actions to enforce or remove restrictive covenants, and similar actions. The Firm maintains a flexible fee structure and will consider contingency and blended fee arrangements with respect to real estate litigation.
